Tours
of the Guildhall Art Gallery
John
is accredited to take tours around the Guildhall Art
Gallery in the City of London.
The
City of London has built up an impressive art collection,
of which there are approximately 250 pieces on display
in the Gallery at any one time. John can lead groups
around a carefully chosen selection of the paintings
and sculptures in a tour lasting approximately one hour.
The tour also includes a visit to the impressive remains
of a Roman amphitheatre in the basement of the building,
which were only discovered in 1988.
The
Gallery is open between 10.00am and 5.00pm Monday to
Saturday and 12 noon to 4.00pm on Sunday.
The
cost of tours is negotiable and groups of between 2
and 20 people can be accommodated.
